What it means

The washer is unable to drain correctly (long drain time).

What to check first

  1. Check the drain hose installation and that it does not extend more than about 4.5” (113 mm) into the standpipe;
  2. clean the drain pump filter and door seal/bellow if clogged.

When to call service

If the washer still will not drain, service is needed.
